Following the prerequisites of comfort, accessibility, sustainability and legacy vision, up to eight stadiums have already been planned in different Qatar cities in order to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar™.
World-renowned architects, among them Zaha Hadid (Al Janoub Stadium) or Foster + Partners (Lusail Stadium), have conceived some of these sports facilities. The eight proposals created for the event take into account sustainability factors as key values and have a vision beyond the event.
The projects of all stadiums, with video simulations and detailed information on each one of them, can be found in the website of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, the committee which manages the event.
