Aaron Betsky
Scottsdale, AZ, USAAaron Betsky is dean of the School of Architecture at Taliesin and a critic and author of more than a dozen books on art, architecture, and design. Trained at Yale, he has worked as a designer for Frank O. Gehry & Associates and Hodgetts + Fung. He has also taught at SCI-Arc and served as the director of the 11th Venice International Architecture Biennale. Author of numerous monographs on the work of late-20th century architects, he has opined on the historically gendered nature of architecture and advocated for an interpretation of architecture that transcends physical building.
