Cristina Siza Vieira is the CEO of the Portuguese Hotels Association (AHP). She holds a degree in law and has completed postgraduate studies in legal-administrative sciences from the Faculty of Law of the Universidade de Lisboa. Her specialization is in land use planning, urbanism and the environment. She has worked in the public sector as General Director of Tourism; Member of the Gambling Advisory Board for the general inspection of gambling; Mission Officer of the Center for Support for the licensing of tourism projects; Director of the Legal Department of the Portuguese Ministry of National Defense; Advisor to the Vice-President and Urbanism Councillor of the Lisbon City Council. In the private sector, she has worked as a lawyer in banking and as a consultant for tourism business groups.
