Dan Hill

Dan Hill is the Director of the Melbourne School of Design and Professor in Built Environment, Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning, University of Melbourne. A designer and urbanist, he was formerly the Director of Strategic Design at Vinnova, the Swedish government’s innovation agency. His previous leadership positions have produced innovative, influential projects and organizations, ranging across the built environment—education and research, government and social innovation, and media—each one transformed positively via digital technology and a holistic approach to design. In addition to speaking at major conferences and events across the world he has taught at numerous international universities and he has written extensively for books, journals and websites.
