Dominic Lutyens is a London-based freelance arts journalist. He contributes regularly for the Financial Times (including How to Spend It), BBC designed (part of BBC Culture), Elle Decoration, Design Anthology and Architonic. He is co-author, together with Kirsty Hislop, of the book 70s Style & Design (Thames & Hudson), and of Celia Birtwell (Quadrille) about the life and work of one of Britain's best-loved textile designers. Also, author of Living with Mid-Century Collectibles (Ryland Peters and Small). He has chaired seminars on design and architecture-related topics at the Royal College of Art and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and lectured on 70s fashion and design at Oxford University, Central St. Martin’s and the London College of Fashion.
