Lisa Findley
San Francisco, CA, USALisa Findley is a Professor of Architecture at the California College of the Arts (CCA) in San Francisco who has also taught at UC Berkeley, Harvard, and Arizona State University, and served as visiting faculty in Malaysia and Australia. She’s a hybrid academic using multiple methods of engaging with a wide array of ideas to advance the understanding of architecture in relationship to political, cultural, social, economic, and environmental tensions, transformations, and change. The scope of this work is international and includes places as diverse as Mexico, South Africa, New Caledonia, Australia, Vietnam, India, and China. As a journalist, she’s written for many international publications and she’s the author of the book “Building Change: Architecture, Politics, and Cultural Agency.”
