Catherine Foulkrod
Naples, ItalyCatherine Foulkrod is an essayist and fiction writer based in Naples, Italy. She holds a BA in Art Semiotics from Brown University, and an MFA in Creative Writing from the New School. Her words can be read or are forthcoming in “The Believer”, “Bookforum”, “New York Tyrant”, “Unsaid”, “Egress”, “El Malpensante”, and exhibition catalogues for Thomas Dane Gallery, BilbaoArte, and Sala Rekalde, among others. She is currently working on a novel exploring the discords between internal and external realities, and a biography of a blind Incan pianist. She has received fellowships and residencies from BRACT Tricase; Summer Literary Seminars in Tbilisi, Georgia; and the Vermont Studio Center.
