Gregory Beals is a journalist and photographer and who has followed the lives of survivors of conflict for over 15 years. He has documented the lives of refu-gees for the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), and he has worked with the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. He has written for a number of magazines including Newsweek, Huffington Post, Foreign Pol-icy and The Guardian, and is currently the Spain correspondent for the Daily Beast.
