Isabelle Anguelovski
Reims, France / Barcelona, SpainIsabelle Anguelovski is an ICREA Research Professor trained in urban and environmental planning with a PhD from MIT. She directs the Barcelona Laboratory for Urban Environmental Justice and Sustainability, a groundbreaking research laboratory at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona's Institute for Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA-UAB) that examines the extent to which urban plans and policy decisions contribute to more just, resilient, healthy, and sustainable cities. She has published numerous articles in prestigious journals, has been featured in media outlets such as La Vanguardia, Next City and Canada’s National Observer, and was recently appointed to Barcelona’s first scientific advisory board.
