Patrick McKinney

Patrick McKinney is the Founder of Interior Design practice A.M.P. He has a strong reputation for producing innovative and award winning spaces across private, public and commercial sectors.
Since 2003 he has been responsible for the design of a series of fitness clubs called Gymbox at different sites across central London. As Design Director, he led the design on BKD’s Media Space project at the Science Museum and he has designed Manchester Museum’s The Study, as well as the award-winning wayfinding and signage system in Manchester’s newly renovated The Whitworth. He has sat on judging panels for D&AD Awards and the Irish Institute of Contemporary Art & Design. He has been a visiting lecturer at Kent School of Architecture, Middle-sex University and Guangzho College of Art, and currently teaches at Portsmouth School of Archi-tecture.
