Marta Peris
Barcelona, SpainMarta Peris is an architect and professor of projects at ETSAB. In 2016 she presented her Ph.D. thesis, "The Japanese house through the cinema of Yasujiro Ozu," published in 2019 under the title "Ozu's house." Cofounder of the architecture studio Peris+Toral, their works have been exhibited at the Cité de l'Architecture in Paris (2022), at the UIA Tokyo (2011), Best architecture exhibition Spain-Korea (2022) in Seoul, at the Spanish Pavilion of the Venice Biennale (2016), and in the context of the Cities Connection Project in Mendrisio, Geneva, Zurich, Brussels, and Basel. The studio received the Spanish Architecture Award CSCAE 2022, and among the most outstanding international recognitions, it holds the Premio Europeo di Architettura Matilde Baffa Ugo Rivolta 2021 and is among the five finalists of the EU Mies van der Rohe Award 2022.
