Beverly Sandalack
Calgary, CanadaDr. Beverly A. Sandalack is a professor at the School of Architecture, Planning & Landscape, University of Calgary. She is codirector of the Urban Lab, a research group concerned with urban design, urban morphology, and health and the built environment, and recognized by ten CSLA awards and an EDRA Place Planning Award. A landscape architect and planner specialized in urban design, her publications include two books on urban morphology and design and two on sense of place and cultural landscapes. She is a Fellow of the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects and the recipient of the 2018 CSLA Teaching Award and the 2020 International Federation of Landscape Architects President’s Award. She serves on the Calgary Urban Design Review Panel and the Canada Green Cities Foundation Board of Directors.
