Florencia Sobrero
Quito, EcuadorFlorencia Sobrero holds a master's degree in Gender and Communication from the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, Ecuador and a degree in architecture from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina. Her personal research focuses on gender inequality in the field of design and construction. She is a founding partner of the architecture studio Taller General, together with architect Martín Real since 2017. She has participated in numerous international congresses and meetings. In 2022 she gave the closing keynote lecture of the 13th International Architecture Biennial of São Paulo under the title "(Re)thinking Practices " and was also a member of the jury of the X Student Architecture Biennial of Costa Rica. She has been a representative of the technical secretariat of REDBAAL since 2016.
