Foodture Barcelona, the Food Design Food Tech and Sustainability Innovation Summit held in the city and organized by the Barcelona Design Centre (BCD) and Plat Institute of Augmented Gastronomy, celebrates its second edition on the 30th and 31st October.
These sessions will create an open space where visionary projects, startups, science, design and innovation come together to explore and redesign the food world.
Different alternatives to the current food production, new materials, lifestyles, ways of farming, of communicating, of transforming, of use of energy and natural resources will be explored through talks, gastronomic experiences, workshops and an exhibition.
This year, for the first time, the Summit will be held both digitally and face-to-face; attendants will therefore be able to experience the cultural agenda from their homes and discover a new kind of approach.
