Oslo Architecture Triennale 2019
Under the theme ENOUGH, the festival will explore the architecture of Degrowth
The Neighbourhood as a Space of Civility
Short film: Subversive Architects
- Updated Inspiration
Starting September 26th, this year’s theme at Oslo Architecture Triennale will focus on how architecture should respond in a time of climate emergency, systemic inequality and social division by proposing alternatives to the unsustainable and unfair paradigm of growth. Through a series of venues, the festival will explore things like the democratisation of goods, rethinking constructed-ness, reclaiming streets as sites of joy and contesting injustice and extraction. In particular, the Dealing with it workshop will examine the notion of “unbuilding” and rediscover approaches forgotten during the recent decades of rapid development.Oslo Architecture Triennale
