- Updated Inspiration
The Habitat Penang Hill is a world class rainforest discovery centre located near the vibrant metropolis of Penang on the northwest coast of Malaysia. It’s nature trail, canopy bridge and iconic circular treetop walkway–the highest public viewing point on the island–allow visitors to experience one of the most diverse tropical ecosystems in the world. While the Amazon represents the largest tropical rainforest on the planet, the Malaysian rainforest is one of the oldest, dating back about 130 million years. Funds generated by The Habitat Penang Hill’s commercial operations go into The Habitat Foundation to support innovative solutions to conserving biodiversity in the area and beyond.
