Architecture Now! is a late night show-style event held between the cities of Madrid and Barcelona, hosted by Núria Moliner in collaboration with Roca.
Bars, wineries, vermuterias, colmados, restaurants. Going out for a drink or a bite to eat is the everyday hedonism par excellence of an entire generation. In the face of globalization, local gastronomy, deeply rooted in tradition, is making a comeback—with a contemporary twist. And architecture, interior design, and product design go hand in hand, materialized by young architectural studios that understand rehabilitation and the fusion of the personal and the shared, of the timeless and the playful, as the language of our time. What does restaurant architecture look like? What do we value when we go to a bar or restaurant? What are the best venues in the city, and who are their creators? We’ll talk about it with an architect who designs food, a content creator who specializes in restaurants, and a chef who engages in dialogue with architecture.

Miquel Ruiz Planella (h3o / Tiberi club / Tiberi bar) is an architect from ETSAB, UPC, with top honors, and holds a Master's in Theory and History of Architecture from the same school. He also studied at Technische Universität Berlin and completed postgraduate studies in Business Management at UPF.
He is co-founder of the studio H3O, from where he develops a practice that intersects architecture, ecology, and material culture. Among his built and ongoing projects are the transformation of the former Clarisses convent into the new library of Arenys de Mar, a complex of 155 social housing units in Rotterdam (awarded 1st prize at EUROPAN 15), and the Barbacoa Comunal, a renaturalization of a former parking lot into a public space. He also works on exhibition design and curatorial projects such as the interior renovation of Montjuïc Castle, the Nomad Assembly installation for the Model 2023 festival, and the interdisciplinary series Fora de si, organized with H2O Gallery for the Architecture Weeks 2024 and 2025. Currently, H3O is leading research on the overlap between architecture and artistic practices in Barcelona, which will culminate in an exhibition and a series of performative dialogues as part of the World Capital of Architecture 2026.
He combines professional practice with teaching as an associate professor of Architectural History at La Salle (Universitat Ramon Llull).
He is also co-founder of Tiberi Club, a creative direction studio focused on food, food design, and cultural practices around eating. Two years ago, he opened Tiberi Bar, a gastronomic space in Barcelona where cuisine, architecture, and culture meet.
