Saša Begović graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb. In 1994 he founded 3LHD together with Marko Dabrović, Tanja Grozdanić and Silvije Novak. During his career, he has led many of the firm’s award-winning projects in various typologies: public, cultural, residential, leisure, sports, and mixed-use. For the last twenty-four years he has been active in the academic field as a visiting professor at numerous schools in the US and Europe including Harvard University, Cornell University, ETH Zurich, the technical universities in Vienna, Munich and Graz, and the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana. Since 2021 he is a professor at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb.
