Born in Taiwan and currently residing in the Netherlands, Changfang has always been inspired and fascinated by the inextricable tension between globalization and localism, modernity and tradition. She is co-founder of Architecture in Development (AiD), an online platform dedicated to bottom-up, user-led architecture. Since 2011, AiD has generated enormous inspiration and passion for many architects who want to make a difference to underserved communities. Currently, AiD is transforming into a collaborative platform, connecting the talents and skills in the AiD network to support more urgent community building initiatives in the future.
