Renan Teles is a Brazilian photographer whose work explores urban life, memory, and social justice. With a background in social sciences, he has collaborated with cultural institutions, grassroots organizations, and editorial projects across Brazil. His documentary practice combines intimate portraiture with participatory research approaches to investigate the layered dynamics of place, migration, and housing. As part of “Building Dignified Worlds,” he partnered with FICA ((Fundo Imobiliário Comunitário para Aluguel) in São Paulo to capture narratives of resistance and care of its residents.
