Tom Dyckhoff

Tom Dyckhoff is a historian, writer and broadcaster about architecture, cities, design and places. He teaches history and theory of architecture and cities at University College London and Central Saint Martins. He has written and presented many TV and radio/podcast series and documentaries, including 'The Culture Show' (BBC), 'The Great Interior Design Challenge' (BBC/Netflix) and 'The Secret Life of Buildings' (Channel 4/Netflix). He was previously architecture and design critic of The Times, deputy homes & design editor at The Guardian and head of exhibitions at the RIBA. He is the author of 'The Age of Spectacle: The Rise and Fall of Iconic Architecture' (Windmill Books), and coauthor of the official guide to the architecture of 2012’s Olympic Games, 'The Architecture of London 2012: Vision, Design, Legacy' (John Wiley & Sons).
