Lucía Ferrater

Lucía Ferrater holds a degree in architecture from ETSAB. In 1998, she joined the studio of Carlos Ferrater, with whom she co-founded the Office of Architecture in Barcelona (OAB) in 2006, alongside Borja Ferrater and Xavier Martí. Her work includes the renovation of the Casa-Estudio de Coderch and, in collaboration with Carlos Ferrater, the design of a social services center in Barcelona’s Eixample district and the new fish market in the Port of Barcelona, winner of the City of Barcelona Award 2024. She was a finalist for the FAD Awards in 2000 for a residential building in Sant Cugat del Vallès, and received the Architecture Award of the COAC Girona Demarcation in 2017 for the “House Facing the Sea” in Port de la Selva. Since 2012, she has taught at various universities and is currently a professor of second-year architectural design at the School of Architecture of La Salle.
