Boonserm Premthada

Boonserm Premthada received his Bachelor of Fine Arts (interior design) with honors and his Master of Architecture from Chulalongkorn University. In 2003 he founded Bangkok Project Studio. His work is focused on supporting local communities and carries a strong socioeconomic and cultural agenda. His practice has been recognized by numerous international awards including the ar+d Award for Emerging Architecture in 2011 and the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture in 2018. His pavilion “The House for Humans and the House for Elephants” represented Thailand at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2021. He has lectured and exhibited at numerous international institutions including the RIBA, London; the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine, Paris; and the California College of the Arts, San Francisco.
