Joe Morris is a graduate of the University of Greenwich and he received his postgraduate diploma from The Bartlett School of Arrchitecture. He started Joe Morris Architects in May 2004, cofounded Duggan Morris Architects in October 2004, and now directs Morris+Company, an evolution of the two earlier practices. He takes a design lead on every project, working at the early concept stage with the team, carefully honing design solutions. An advocate for fair practice, inclusivity and equality, he believes in open dialogue and critical debate, encouraging the company to take ownership of the projects. He also believes in the potential for a more sustainable global economy and seeks to raise awareness of these issues.
