Marina Cabanes is currently in the 4th year of Design Space at Elisava. She has a background in acrylic painting, ceramics, drawing and photography and she has been an intern at MAIO Architects. Her work includes projects focused on social transformation, cohousing, urban planning from a gender perspective (in collaboration with the Ajuntament de l’Hospitalet de Llobregat) as well as speculative, conceptual and awareness-raising projects. She has participated in the renovation of a house and a design workshop in Poblenou as well as the project VIBE (Visions by Experience) that is part of the European program “Bridging culture and audiovisual content through digital”, which responds to the needs of new generations.
