Roger Subirà is an architect with a degree from the ETSAV-UPC. He has been deputy chief of staff at the Department of Territory and Sustainability of the Regional Government of Catalonia. He was the coordinator of the UIA-UNESCO Barcelona 2026 candidacy (World Architecture Capital) and currently coordinates the working group organizing the UIA-Barcelona 2026 World Architecture Congress. He is the author of several books on urban and architectural issues. He currently teaches aesthetics and projects at the ETSALS School of Architecture La Salle and is a member of the board of ArquinFAD. With Narcís Font, he combines the design and construction of interior and exterior spaces in the Colectivo Backyard (Backyard Collective) with curating and designing exhibitions, including "Sueña la ciudad" (Dream the City) at the Palau Robert in 2023.
