Rui Velho Didier

Rui Velho Didier is an architect with a degree from Universidade Lusíada in Lisbon. He collaborated for six months in Mecanoo Architecten in Delft and afterwards he completed a professional internship at Atelier José Adrião Arquitectos, where he remained working for two years. In 2006 he cofounded Atelier Rua in Lisbon, which is a collective practice whose portfolio includes diverse projects ranging from housing to the rehabilitation of buildings and public spaces, as well as exhibition and communication design. Their main objectives are the integration and adaptation to the place and to satisfy the needs of the clients with an architecture characterized by identity, honesty and quality in a flexible and shared process.
