Steffen Lehmann

Steffen Lehmann is a Full Professor of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Nevada (UNLV), where he is Founding Director of the interdisciplinary Urban Futures Lab and Immediate Past Director of the School of Architecture. Born in Stuttgart, Germany, he is an internationally recognized designer, educator, scholar, author, scientific researcher, and strategic leader. Before joining UNLV, he was a chair professor in the UK and in Australia, and he held the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Urban Development for the Asia-Pacific Region. He became a licensed architect in 1993 in Berlin and he is the former Executive Director of three schools of architecture in the US and Australia. He is the founding principal of si_architecture + urban design, based in Dubai.
