Following an initial session dedicated to critical reflection and the presentation of projects that explore the impact of artificial intelligence on architecture and design, we now present an introductory AI workshop for professionals in the field, offering a practical and accessible introduction to the basic tools and methodologies that are transforming the creative process.
Over the course of three hours, Luca Martinucci, Filipe Alves (18—25 Studio), and Paulo Albuquerque (Embaixada) will lead an introductory session focused on the fundamentals of applying AI in a design context, from the basic principles of prompt construction to experimentation with image generation, concepts, and visual references. Through concrete examples and real-time demonstrations, participants will get their first hands-on experience with different emerging tools and workflows, exploring simple and effective ways to integrate artificial intelligence into various stages of the creative process—from ideation to proposal communication.
More than a theoretical introduction, this workshop serves as a space for active learning and guided experimentation, aimed at professionals in the field and creatives who wish to acquire basic skills, expand their toolkit, and understand the potential of AI as a support for creative thinking and production.
Admission to the event is free, but registration is required as space is limited to 15 people.
Note: Given its practical nature, participation in this workshop requires that each participant bring their own laptop in order to follow along with and apply the exercises throughout the session.
The session will take place on May 20, at 5:00 p.m., at the Roca Lisboa Gallery.
