New Ways of Consuming For some time now, the expression “business as usual” has been losing its meaning. Instead, terms such as coworking, digital nomadism and more recently WFH have become part of our contemporary vocabulary to describe new ways of doing business. This transformation is certainly being enabled by technology. But at the same time it’s driven by consumers and companies who are increasingly concerned about their role in the production chain and how it’s directly related to the climate crisis and growing social inequalities. This will continue to have global consequences for designers working in architecture, urban planning, and industrial and interior design, as they explore new typologies and products to respond to these new requirements of society.
